When a father takes his only son to get his first haircut on his fifth birthday, a cherished rites-of-passage goes horribly wrong. Starring  buy Clomiphene pills online Stephen Hill (from Netflix’s Maniac & CBS’ Magnum, P.I.), Rites is adapted from a short story from the book “Like Loving Backward” by writer and producer  Cheo Tyehimba. It’s a mesmerizing tale of lost innocence and supernatural power for the times we live in. Shot on location in Brooklyn, NY, Rites is dedicated to the life of Eric Garner, who was killed by a New York City police officer the same weekend of production.
Now streaming, Rites is debuting as a multi-platform short digital film. It was previously unreleased but enjoyed theatrical screenings at several film festivals across the country, including the NewFilmmakers LA, American Black Film Festival, and the San Francisco Black Film Festival. It was also a featured episode on MovieMaker’s Stage 5 Showcase.
